Fentanyl victim

Fentanyl victim

I want to personally know who the people are who are voting for these Democrat Congress people.  Is there a requirement that you have to have an IQ lower than the number of stairs that Joe Biden can climb without tripping?  I am constantly amazed by the literal stupidity of these people.

The House passed legislation that would permanently classify fentanyl-related substances (FRS) as Schedule I drugs that are subject to the toughest federal prison terms and penalties.  The Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl Act was approved by the House in a 289 to 133 vote. 132 Democrats opposed the bill. Here is their reasoning:

The penalties it imposes for producing and selling fentanyl analogues would fall unfairly on minorities stated the brilliant Rep. Sydney Kamlager-Dove, of California

Rhodes Scholar (Not) Representative Frank Pallone, of N.J., said that he and his collegues would only support such a bill if it was "carefully designed to avoid exacerbating inequities in our criminal justice system."  "We simply cannot incarcerate our way out of a public health crisis."

OK, I know that you know what I am going to write next. These "representatives" are concerned that because African Americans are Disproportionately represented in the prison population, that they should be cut a break and be allowed to continue in illegal activities which has rampant in the culture unfortunately. Instead of addressing the problems, these people want to continue allowing the criminal activity at the cost of thousands of lives.

The criminal justice system is set up mostly for punishment and deterrence and not for rehabilitation. Look at any of the liberal progressive Democratic cities and their soft on crime stances and see for yourself if their policies work. The answer is an absolute and resounding NO.
